Options > Opt-in email

Opt-in email is a powerful communications tool. It allows public users to register to receive updates by email.

Users simply click on the 'Register to receive updates' link  and enter their e-mail address. They may then delete their registration or change their preferences at any time. If the Email Group option is included, they may choose which categories of mail to receive.

Authorised administrators may view and amend the list of email subscribers at any time, and add and delete registrations. Registered users may choose whether to receive email in HTML format (with images, links and sophisticated formatting) or as plain text.

All generated email is marked from a real user and includes unsubscribe information to be fully compliant with UK & EU anti-spam regulations.
